What We Stand For
Our HSE policy — Health, Safety and Environment — forms the binding framework for our day-to-day operations at the production site. It is overseen by management and should not be understood as a one-off statement, but as an ongoing commitment that applies across the entire company — from the intake of raw materials to delivery.
Health and Safety
The safety of our employees takes priority in every operational decision. We continuously review our workflows and adapt them wherever risks can be reduced — in technical standards as well as in training and organisational processes. Our goal goes beyond the statutory minimum requirements.
Environmental Responsibility
Our production carries an ecological footprint, which we actively work to reduce — in how we handle raw materials as well as in energy and water consumption at our site. We see this not as a completed project, but as an ongoing process that we continuously review and develop further.
Working Environment
A good working environment doesn't happen by chance — it results from deliberate decisions: reliable structures, clear responsibilities, and a willingness to continuously improve working conditions. We strengthen safety at our site systematically, not sporadically.
Value Creation and Sharing Value
Economic success is not an end in itself for us, but a responsibility towards everyone who makes it possible. We see ourselves as part of a chain of producers, production partners and employees — and we shape our actions so that this chain remains sustainable in the long term. Fair terms towards our production partners in Belgium and France are not up for negotiation as far as we're concerned, but the foundation of a partnership built on trust and continuity.
At the same time, we deliberately reinvest in the ongoing development of our products, our team and our site, rather than prioritising short-term margin over long-term stability. Value that we create together should also benefit everyone together — the people who generate it, and the region our raw materials come from.
People and Animals
At Grand-Mère Ève, respect and equal treatment apply to everyone we engage with — employees, suppliers and customers alike, regardless of origin, gender or background. Discrimination has no place in any of these relationships; equal opportunity is not a formal obligation for us, but lived practice.
This same standard applies equally to the animals whose products go into our recipes: species-appropriate husbandry and natural feeding are a prerequisite for us, not an optional extra, before any raw material is ever used in our products.
Our Commitment
At Grand-Mère Ève, we are convinced that excellent craftsmanship and a high standard of quality are inseparably linked to our responsibility towards our teams, our customers and the environment. Our HSE policy (people/animals, health, safety and environment) is not a theoretical concept, but a shared dynamic upheld by the entire management team and lived out every day by our employees.
Craftsmanship That Enchants
We know that the path to a fully sustainable future is an ongoing process. We approach this demanding task with humility, but also with determination and integrity — carried by the energy and sense of community within our teams.
Our ambition is clear: to bring excellence, enjoyment and responsibility into harmony, so that we earn our partners' trust anew every day and build a more sustainable future together.
Our Daily Promises
For us, responsibility is not shown in statements of intent, but in daily decisions. It begins with the people who work for us: every contribution deserves fair pay and the recognition it is due — without that, no craft can be sustained in the long run.
It continues with the animals whose products go into our recipes: species-appropriate husbandry and natural feeding are not an optional extra for us, but a prerequisite before any raw material is ever used in our products.
And it doesn't end with the nature these raw materials come from: unspoilt soil, clean water and clean air are the quiet foundation of every creation we make — even if no one sees them in the finished product.
That's why we produce exclusively at our site in Belgium, using regionally sourced raw materials. Not because it sounds good, but because short supply chains are the only way to genuinely trace and take responsibility for all of this.
